Lean-Agile Partners Expands With Addition of New Business and Operations Practice Areas
Lean-Agile Pioneer Nancy Van Schooenderwoert Welcomes Industry Veterans Mark Taylor and Joyce Dostale
January 10, 2014, Lexington, MA – Lean-Agile Partners, an independent, global provider of Lean-Agile consulting services that enables organizations in regulated safety- critical industries, as well as in financial services and consumer products manufacturing, to build higher quality products that meet time-to-market goals. Today, Lean-Agile Partners is announcing key additions to its executive team and expanded offerings.
Lean-Agile Partners today welcomes the following:
Mark Taylor, a serial high tech entrepreneur and accomplished corporate executive with over 25 years of experience applying empirical methods in marketing, sales, business development and product portfolio management, has joined the firm as managing partner of the newly created Business Practice. The Business Practice focuses on marketing,
product management, business development and sales, as well as other groups in an enterprise. Taylor’s Lean-Agile practice experience spans start-ups (Apollo Computer, Inc., Raptor Systems, RAIDCore) and established companies including HP, Digital and Broadcom.
Joyce Dostale, a serial entrepreneur and operational executive with more than 25 years experience as a business and management consultant specializing in high-growth emerging
technology companies, has joined Lean-Agile Partners as managing partner of the newly
created Operations Practice. The Operations Practice brings lean-agile startup principles
to team and group operations functions across finance, manufacturing, human resources,
customer support and regulatory compliance, among other groups. Previously, Dostale
served as CEO for AWare Technologies, a health, wellness and sports company as well as
CEO of The Screen House, an interactive firm.
“The additions of Joyce and Mark to our team means we have achieved our goal of providing to
our customers the broadest possible range of Lean-Agile consulting services – from development
to business to operations,” said Nancy Van Schooenderwoert, Lean-Agile Partners president and managing partner of the Development Practice. “As a result of our holistic approach to the Lean-
Agile method, our clients are able to deliver the highest quality products to their customers just-in-time, and without the start-stop development cycles associated with traditional approaches.”

Companies who have integrated Lean-Agile methods into their engineering work, for example, reduce the risk of a “big-bang integration phase going wrong,” said Van Schooenderwoert, an Agile practice pioneer for embedded software development and a founder and past president of Agile New England, the leading Agile community in New England.
“The clients we partner with are fully integrating each new product feature as it’s completed,”
she said. “Slicing up the work and making the process visible to the key business, operations and
development stakeholders lets organizations keep groups aligned, build higher quality products and maximize profitability.”
Lean-Agile Partners employs a proprietary roll-out program – the Agile Multiplier Principle (AMP).
AMP lets collaborating groups within an enterprise adopt custom-tailored Lean-Agile methods in
phases so that they can realize measurable gains in real-time in order to help reduce change-related delays.
